Mlimani was founded in 1978 by veteran acoustic guitar ace Michael Enoch and quickly became the undisputed celebrity from the Tanzanian music scene. Merging three guitars, percussion, and a good brass section with lyrics that are both directed however poetical, the music group enjoy unprecedented interest, both around the airwaves and in the concert halls.
