Through their mix of folk, country and bluegrass having a synthesis of delicate pop, The Orange Humble Band debuted this musical hybrid with their headquarters of Sydney, Australia upon their 1995 formation. Comprising Ken Stringfellow (previously from the Posies), Anthony Bautovich (previously of the Lonesome Hearts), Daryl Mather (previously from the Lime Spiders) and American indie maker Mitch Easter, the quartet ultimately captured this sound in 1997 using the Half-A-Cow launch of Assorted Creams.
