Oppenheimer

Rocky O’Reilly (guitar, keyboards, vocoder) and Shaun Robinson (vocals, drums) will be the quirky digital pop duo Oppenheimer. Produced in 2004, the Irish duo produced a significant splash in Britain in 2005 when BBC Radio 1 DJ David Holmes championed their melody “Breakfast time in NYC.” Following that, Oppenheimer continued to perform displays alongside the Chalets and Structures in Helsinki. A documenting contract with Club/None implemented in Sept, and their self-titled work arrived in Springtime 2006. The 14-melody pop jewel included a functionality by Ash’s Tim Wheeler over the melody “Orchid.” Over time spent touring with THEY COULD BE Giants, Oppenheimer released their second record, Take the complete Midrange and Increase It, in 2008. After spending the majority of 2009 touring with Fine Go as well as the Presidents of america of America, Oppenheimer going into the studio room to record their following album. They just finished a small number of tracks before making a decision to split their relationship. The duo performed its last display in Dec of 2009. O’Reilly following formed the music group Malibu Shark Strike! however the Oppenheimer tale wasn’t completed. In 2012, Club/Nothing released This Racquet TOOK ITS Toll, an record which has the six music the band completed during the periods for the 3rd record, plus three even more songs completed around once and a small number of B-sides and rarities.
