Acquiring their name from a spectator’s comment while busking within the piazza of London’s Covent Back garden Market place, the OperaBabes established themselves among the world’s elite operatic duos. Karen Britain and Rebecca Evening, both classically educated, fulfilled in Cambridge while executing Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and cultivated a camaraderie that took these to the Champions Group Last in Milan, where they captured the hearing of a realtor from Sony Music. After executing while watching Queen on the Royal Albert Hall, the set began focus on their debut record, Beyond Creativity, which found its way to 2003 to nearly unanimous vital acclaim.
