One for the Team

Indie pop music group 1 for the Group were founded by Minneapolis music scenester/songwriter Ian Anderson (never to be puzzled with the frontman of Jethro Tull) in order to use material which was unfit for his additional music group, Aneuretical. The group started as a purely studio side task with drummer Elliot Manthey and bass participant John Krueger, but quickly blossomed right into a full-time device after the achievement from the group’s self-released 2006 recording, Good Kids Don’t Make Sound. A flurry of lineup adjustments followed, using the music group eventually buying Anderson, Manthey, Elegance Fiddler, and Jacob Huelster as its primary. One for the Group toured heavily to get their 2008 sophomore work, Build It Up, posting the stage with contemporaries like Dressy Bessy, French Kicks, and Frightened Rabbit before going back to the studio room for 2009’s eight-song EP Create a Garden.
