Crafting thoughtful electronic pop such as Imogen Heap and Feist, English singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Olivia Broadfield composed and recorded music in her “rock and roll & move bungalow” house studio. In 2007, she agreed upon with music publisher pigFACTORY and caused manufacturer Josh Crocker to polish her music into her debut record, Eyes WIDELY OPEN, which arrived afterwards that calendar year. Her music made an appearance on Television shows like the Hills and REAL LIFE, as well as the video on her behalf melody “Indescribable” was highlighted on this year’s 2009 Grammys. Around that point, Broadfield got an archive deal in the us when Vagrant Information agreed upon her; she became the punk-dominated label’s first feminine musician. The imprint reissued a remixed and remastered edition of Eyes WIDELY OPEN in summer months 2009.
