Russian pianist Oleg Marshev was created in the Azerbaijani capital town of Baku, and studied in the Moscow Conservatory with Mikhail Voskresensky, graduating in 1988 and being successful the Pilar Bayona International Piano Competition in Zaragoza. In 1990, Marshev required the platinum medal in the AMSA Piano Competition in Cincinnati and right before the collapse from the previous Soviet Union, Marshev resolved in Italy.
