The musical traditions from the Basque region of Spain have already been preserved by Biarritz-based Oldarra. Performing music in the region’s seven provinces within their primary dialect, the all-amateur, 40-guy choral group mixes a rich combination of liturgical chants and music compiled by sailors or shepherds.
