Old Man River

Fronted by Australian-born, Australian- and Israeli-raised Ohad Rein, Old Man River performs warm acoustic guitar-driven pop similar to the Beatles, Beck, and fellow Aussie Ben Lee. Rein initial found the device at age group 13, and after providing in the Israeli Military, he relocated to NEW YORK, where he used his long term trade by carrying out at local espresso shops and parks. After touring around India for any 12 months, the musician came back to Sydney, where he toured with Gelbison and created the group Countries from the River with Gelbisoners Nadav and Edo Kahn and Luke Steele from your Sleepy Jackson. It had been during this time period spent with additional rings that his personal songs started to consider shape, getting verses and melodies while in impromptu jam classes. During one particular experience the basis of the track “Sunlight” was created, and motivated by a pal, Rein finished it and released as the name monitor on his 2004 EP beneath the name Aged Man River. Then added bassist Liam Flanagan, history vocalist and guitarist Tanya Horo, and drummer Saul Smith towards the blend, and in 2007, after trips in both U.S. and Australia, Aged Guy River’s debut full-length, HELLO, came out.
