Ohmega Watts

Created in Brooklyn, NY, and raised mainly in Queens and Florida, Ohmega W (or Milton Campbell to his parents) started his profession in Orlando, where he started crafting his MC abilities in the first ’90s. For this period he also started exhibiting a pastime in beat-making, idolizing the stalwarts of this day such as for example Pete Rock and roll, DJ Premier, Huge Professor, as well as the RZA. This long-tenured, multi-influenced trip first found fruition on W’ 2005 debut, The Discover on Ubiquity Information. The Discover was a natural album, created and made by W and bearing a solid ideological resemblance to fellow Brooklynite Jneiro Jarel’s Three Piece Puzzle (though at that time W had firmly set up himself in Portland, OR, where he previously transferred after graduating from artwork college in Florida). W’ usage of live equipment and old-school sampling evoked a Local Tongues vibe, and W then continued to supply creation focus on his staff Lightheaded’s debut, Pure Thoughts. His sophomore full-length, W Happening, premiered in 2007.
