b. Frederick Ogden Nash, 19 August 1902, Rye, NY, USA, d. 19 Might 1971, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. A descendent of General Francis Nash, after whom is known as Nashville, Tennessee, Ogden grew up in various cities, due to his dad’s peripatetic work.
