Offenbach

Offenbach were formed in Quebec in 1969 by Gerry Boulet, Michael Lamonthe, Jr., and Wezo. The music group signed using the self-employed Barclay label in 1972 and released the French recording Offenbach Cleaning soap Opera. Four years later on, A&M provided an archive offer and released the band’s self-titled recording in 1977. Also released that yr was Never As well Soft and another self-titled LP. Lamonthe and Wezo remaining around that point and were changed by Pierre Lavoie and Norman Kerr (though Kerr remaining immediately after). In 1979, Offenbach documented Traversion and added even more new associates, Breen LeBoeuf and John McVale. Four even more studio albums implemented — En Fusion (1980), Tonnedebrick (1983), Live a Fond d’Train (1984), and Rockorama (1985) — prior to the band split in 1986. Documented reside in Montreal, Offenbach’s last record, Le Dernier Present, made an appearance in 1986. Gerry Boulet documented two single albums, Presque 40s in 1984 and Rendezvous Doux in 1988.
