Ochieng Kabaselleh

Alongside the Luna Kidi Music group, Kabaselleh plays a genuine mixture of Kenyan and Zairean music. The harmonies are real benga, as the the instrumentation is usually even more Swahili in impact. Kabaselleh, who sings in indigenous Luo, aswell as with British and Swahili, was something of the thorn in the medial side of the federal government and spent years in prison on costs of subversion.
