Spanish rock foursome Obus was shaped in Madrid in 1980 by guitarist Francisco Laguna and bassist Juan Luis Serrano, who have been soon joined up with by drummer Manolo Cano (who was simply later changed by Fernando Sanchez). After Fortu Sanchez became the band’s leading vocalist, Obus registered to local self-employed label Chapa Discos, documenting Preparate, made by Luis Soler and Tino Casal. The music group debuted go on November 6, 1981. They released Poderoso Como un Trueno in 1982 and Un Que Mas in 1984, offering “Alguien,” made up by Iron Maiden’s Adrian Smith. After touring SOUTH USA for the very first time, Obus documented 1985’s Pega Con Fuerza, offering the strike “Te Visitara La Muerte.” In 1990, the group documented Otra Vez En La Ruta, splitting up immediately after. They came back in 1996. In Oct of 2000 Desde Un Fondo Del Abismo premiered.
