Obsidian

Most are the rock bands throughout the world that contact themselves Obsidian, but possibly the best known comes from Amsterdam, in holland; features vocalist Robbe Kok, guitarists Simon Lawford and Sjaak Kassies, bassist Gerben Vehicle Der Bij, and drummer Melle Kramer; and performs an extremely technical design of intensifying death metallic. Obsidian’s two profession albums, 2006’s Growing and 2010’s Stage of Infinity, elicit evaluations to rings like Sweden’s Meshuggah, France’s Gojira, and their personal compatriots, Textures; adopted upon many years of woodshedding and demonstration recordings; and — though critically praised — possess yet to attain a wider target audience.
