With a variety of the exploratory as well as the thunderously heavy, Atlanta, Georgia’s O’Brother make post-rock with serious disposition swings. Employed in the vein of rings like Sigur Rós, Accurate Widow, and Mogwai, their audio is a complete exploration of the calm/loud powerful, drifting languidly between ethereal atmospherics and shoegaze-influenced wall space of audio. The band produced its debut in 2006 using the Compared to Me EP, implemented in ’09 2009 with the Loss of life of Time EP, that was the initial discharge to feature the entire lineup of Tanner Merritt, Johnny Dang, Michael Martens, and Anton Dang. Tirelessly touring, O’Brother begun to develop on the highway, growing jointly as musicians because they distributed stages with famous brands Manchester Orchestra and Cage the Elephant. The bandmembers ultimately settled back off to commit the brand new material that they had been developing to tape, and in 2011 O’Brother released their initial full-length, Garden Home window, through Triple Crown. 2 yrs later, they came back using their sophomore record, Disillusion. In 2016, O’Brother shipped Endless Light, offering creation from Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull and Robert McDowell with longtime Manchester Orchestra engineer Brad Fisher.
