Oberhofer

Merging kitchen-sink instrumentation with playful lyrics and sweet harmonies, Oberhofer presents eccentric, undeniably catchy indie pop. Centered around musician Brad Oberhofer, the task started in 2008 when he relocated from his indigenous Tacoma, Washington to NY to review music structure at NY University. He produced his documented debut this year 2010 using the self-released solitary o0o0o0o0o, displaying his penchant for lo-fi bedroom synth pop, and elevated his profile touring with rings like Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, Twin Sister, and Carry in Heaven. By the next fall, Oberhofer linked to legendary maker Steve Lillywhite (U2, Rolling Rocks, Talking Mind) in Brooklyn to record full-length debut Period Pills II, elevating his audio with an increase of orchestral components and fuller preparations. The album appeared over the Glassnote label in past due March 2012 as Oberhofer toured thoroughly, including performances on the Coachella Music Festival. Documented over the U.S. in metropolitan areas including however, not limited by Tacoma, NY, and LA, blended by Ben H. Allen (Pet Collective, Reptar), and narrowed from over 100 demos, another album, the radiant Chronovision, premiered in fall 2015.
