O Terço was perhaps one of the most important Brazilian rock and roll bands from the ’70s. Piecing together several different designs like gutsy rock and roll & move, prog rock and roll, folk rock and roll, rock, and funk, the group produced in 1968 is constantly on the survive, and it is generally centred on guitarist Sérgio Hinds. The very first formation of O Terço aslo acquired Vinícius Cantuária as drummer, who afterwards began working being a composer and single musician. The group released its initial LP in 1970 but acquired its apex in 1975 making use of their third record, Criaturas da Noite, which acquired agreements by Rogério Duprat and marketed 500,000 copies. Throughout that period, the group’s development included Sérgio Magrão and Flávio Venturini, who still left it in 1979 to create the 14 Bis. Within the ’80s, O Terço began to perform within the U.S. and European countries. Because of this, the group’s function is popular overseas than in Brazil. In 1994 the group documented Live on the Pallace, along with a symphonic orchestra, executed by Rogério Duprat.
