Nuta Jazz Band

Among Tanzania’s oldest rings, Nuta Jazz Music group has truly gone through several name adjustments since it is inception in 1964. In the beginning sponsored and supervised from the Country wide Employees Union, the group became the Juwata Jazz Music group in 1977 as well as the Ottu Jazz Music group after sponsorship was used in the business of Tanzanian Trade Unions in the middle-’90s. The music group has undergone several personnel adjustments, but trumpet participant and vocalist Joseph Lusungu and saxophonist Mnenge Ramadhani still stay the foundation from the band’s audio. The group survived a significant exodus when Muhiddin Maalim, Abel Balthazar, and Hassani Bitchuka remaining to create Dar International as well as the Mlimani Recreation area Orchestra in 1977. Time for the music group, along with Bitchuka, in 1991, Maalim resumed his part as bandleader.
