Number One Gun

Hailing from Chico, CA, the four original people of NUMBER 1 Gun started crafting energetic, Christian-minded rock and roll in 2001. Frontman Jeff Schneeweis, bassist Trevor Retailers, guitarist Ben Tietz, and drummer Jordan Mallory released their 1st EP, Forever, in 2002. The group was consequently offered an archive cope with Salvage following a chance ending up in Dave Tosti, an A&R rep for the tiny label and a group person in PAX217 (a music group Number One Weapon had opened up for). They started documenting with Bob Burch in January 2003, with Floodgate Information climbing aboard to greatly help using the album’s advertising and distribution. The ensuing album, Celebrate Errors, was released by the end of the summertime. Number One Weapon signed with Teeth and Toenail in early 2005 and released their 1st recording for the label, Guarantees for the Imperfect, in July. The bandmates proceeded to go their separate methods one year later on, nevertheless, with Schneeweis selecting to continue documenting his own tracks under the NUMBER 1 Weapon moniker. Released in 2008, The North Pole Task found him discovering Christian designs and melodic textures, while 2010’s TOWARDS THE Secrets And Understanding featured lush creation and songs motivated by Schneeweis’ two year-old little girl.
