Nubiles

From Oxford, Oxfordshire, Britain, the initial line-up from the Nubiles featured Danny Goffey and Gaz Coombes, later on to find popularity in Supergrass. The greater recognisable line-up of the critically adored but commercially overlooked band highlighted founding member Tara Milton (vocals/bass, ex-Five Thirty), Cent Schueller (electric guitar/keyboards), Georgio Curcetti (electric guitar), Chris Nettleton (keyboards/vocals) and Dan Goddard (drums/vocals). They transferred to London in 1995 to help expand their profession, and gained early press both for Milton’s Five Thirty cable connections and their uncommon song agreements, prompting comparisons towards the Fall, the Pixies, Fugazi and Jimi Hendrix. Their debut one, ‘Layabout’, a compressed amalgamation of the affects released on Lime Road Records in Feb 1995, found important favour and a high 10 UK indie graph placing. Further produces were not therefore successful, nevertheless, and by enough time the long-playing Mindblender limped out in 1998 curiosity about the band acquired generally evaporated. Dan Goddard continued to play using the Four Storeys.
