Novadriver

Fusing traditional ’70s-design hard rock and roll with liberal doses of space rock and roll and the unusual psychedelic overtone, Detroit’s Novadriver had been shaped in the past due ’90s by vocalist/organist Tag Miers, guitarist Billy Reedy, guitarist/bassist James Anders, and drummer Eric Miller. Quickly purchased by hometown label Little Stone, they added a edition of Aerosmiths “Periods of Wither” to 2000’s Best in the Nut products tribute disc, after that released their initial album, Void, the next calendar year. But Miers’ unexpected departure to go after “other tasks” would halt the band in its monitors, resulting in many years of inactivity and fruitless looking for an adequate replacing, until he eventually made a decision to rejoin Novadriver’s rates almost 3 years later. The effect, 2005’s suitably anthemic Deeper Great, almost managed to get seem as if Novadriver had hardly ever gone apart, but coincided using the unhappy and unexpected passage of bassist Adam Anders from an obvious heart attack.
