The choice metal outfit Nothingface formed in 1995 in Washington, D.C. Frontman Matt Holt, guitarist Tom Maxwell, bassist Costs Gaal, and drummer Chris Houck produced riveting, gnarling hard rock and roll intertwined with large melodies along with a brash punk rock and roll audio. After two produces for DCide, 1997’s Pacifier and 1998’s An Sound Information to Everyday Atrocity, Nothingface produced their major-label debut on TVT Information with 2000’s Assault. After the record was finished, Houck was changed by Tommy Sickles, and in early 2001, Costs Gaal still left the band searching for a profession in record creation and anatomist, though he afterwards formed the music group Set for the Wipe out. Previous Deadlights bassist Jerry Montano stepped directly into resume bass-playing responsibilities.
