Not Waving

Following the end of his solo guitar and laptop outfit Banjo or Freakout in 2012, Italian-born, London-based Alessio Natalizia continued to focus on his task Walls with Sam Willis, but with personal circumstances and musical differences taking their toll, the duo amicably split, and Natalizia focused all his energy on his new solo task, Not really Waving. 2013 noticed the discharge of his debut full-length Umwelt. An idea recording of types, the LP utilized the thought of “Remote Hearing” as its basis — in the beginning informed from the CIA and KGB’s usage of Remote Looking at during the elevation of the Chilly War — to produce an recording of music for areas that Natalizia acquired never gone to.
