Northern Chorus

Presenting basic yet ingenious medleys of alternative pop alongside artful indie rock and roll substantiated by way of a resourceful string section, A North Chorus’ conceptions appear to flow, along with the cyclic choruses of the songs. Following dissolution of the previous clothing, Datura Wish Defered, guitarist and vocalist Stu Livingstone, alongside Pete Hall (electric guitar, vocals), made a decision to type A North Chorus in 1999. During greater than a season, the duo ready and composed many compositions, before the enhancements of drummer Dan Jagt and bassist Tag Raymond. Continuously enhancing their songwriting skills, the following season they added the workmanship of violinist Erin Aurich, which became the lacking piece for the band’s conceptual function. The Canadian quintet after that entered the studio room to record their first disk, Before MOST OF US Go to Parts, released in 2001. A North Chorus then still left extended tour, executing many concerts in Canada and in the U.S. Third , jaunt, the music group welcomed a fresh tempo section in percussionist Marshall Bureau and bassist Owen Davies, and arranged to preparing out its following album. Documented at Support Fairview Audio in Dundas, Ontario, Soul Flags was released from the Canadian indie Sonic Unyon in-may 2003. Becoming a member of Livingstone, Hall, Bureau, and Davies within the album had been flautist Julie MacDonald, and Sarah MacGregor on violin and violo.
