A soulful Los Angeles-based pop/rock and roll clothing in the vein of Maroon 5, North of Nine are led by charismatic vocalist Jackson Guthy, a precocious vocalist/songwriter who began saving professionally at age 11, and has performed within the Ellen Display and opened for works like Cher Lloyd, Fifth Tranquility, Five Mere seconds of Summer season, and One Path. Rounded out by Rob Ketchum (drums), Michael O’Grady (acoustic guitar), Edison Lo (bass), and Nolan Frank (secrets), the group may be the brainchild of Guthy and supervisor/executive maker Randy Jackson. North of Nine’s debut EP, 2015’s Alive, was made by Gavin Brownish (Woman Gaga, Barenaked Girls, Three Days Elegance) and features the strike single “COULD IT BE You?”
