Norman Yamada

Conductor and experimental music composer Norman Yamada sometimes participated himself in songs ensemble shows, contributing with body organ and shortwave radio. The Harvard graduate continues to be commissioned with the AGON Orchestra, spent some time working with Bang on the Can All-stars, and provides offered as prompter for John Zorn’s Cobra task. WHEN YOU ARE and Time’s discharge on Tzadik in 1998, Yamada acquired made an appearance on five recordings, including a Nashvillians discharge on Kattywampus, and Structure and Demolition on Avant. On the close from the ’90s, Yamada resided with his family members in NYC, and experienced already caused pianist Anthony Coleman, Spirit Coughing’s Tag DeGliAntoni, David Soldier, and guitarist Marc Ribot, to mention just a couple.
