Norman Hutchins

Norman Hutchins is really a Los Angeles-based minister and modern gospel musician whose recordings have already been nominated for Dove and Grammy awards. Approximately ten years after he gained a doctorate in cathedral administration, Hutchins debuted using a self-titled record, among 1992’s brighter modern gospel releases, for the Sparrow label. Following a follow-up for Sparrow, Hutchins shifted to the JDI label for a small number of warmly received albums released through the past due ’90s and early 2000s, including Battlefield, his initial TOP gospel disk. Hutchins also thrived around the IR label, where he released Spontaneous Compliment, Vol. 1, IN THE EVENT THAT YOU Didn’t Know…Right now YOU UNDERSTAND, and Hosanna. Whether documenting in a studio room or within the church, Hutchins’ result managed a down-to-earth, uplifting audio.
