Norman Cazden

Cazden studied in the Juilliard College and Harvard, where he took composition lessons from Copland and Piston. He worked well for quite some time like a composer/pianist for contemporary dance organizations and has frequently appeared like a single pianist and accompanist. He offers taught privately theoretically and piano and offers served as teacher at several colleges, including the University or college of Maine at Orono. Cazden’s music is definitely broadly expressive with polyphony and extended tonality and his melodies frequently contain folk components.
