b. USA. Ruler became quite nicely known within the 30s and early 40s, mainly performing the blues with flair, and created an easy-going rapport with viewers. Within the middle-40s she documented with Mary Lou Williams but the majority of her later on records discovered her in funnel with her spouse, Lawrence Lucie. In her early years, Ruler performed and frequently documented under a bewildering selection of pseudonyms, including Lenore Ruler, Lenore Kinsey, Susan Ruler and Susan Lenore Ruler.
