Nobuo Uematsu

A prolific and versatile author of popular gaming and anime ratings, especially for the ubiquitous Last Fantasy video game series, Nobuo Uematsu was created and raised in Kochi, Japan. A self-taught piano participant, he graduated from Kanagawa University or college and performed keyboards in regional bands, eventually getting are a composer for radio advertisements by sending out his music demos. He relocated into the gaming medium within the mid-’80s whenever a friend provided work at the business then referred to as Squaresoft (later on Square Enix). There, he made up music for a large number of games, like the initial Final Illusion installment, released in 1987. He continued to create or co-write music for the worldwide blockbuster series through 2002’s Last Fantasy XI. He also supplied music for over twelve video gaming including 2006’s Blue Dragon, and tv music for the 2007 anime series in line with the Blue Dragon video game. Uematsu constructed music for the anime tv series Guin Saga in ’09 2009, and lastly returned to the ultimate Fantasy franchise because the primary composer for Last Fantasy XIV this year 2010. He continuing a dedicated timetable of video game scoring in to the 2010s, including however, not limited by 2012’s Fantasy Lifestyle, 2013’s Hometown Tale and Granblue Illusion (both with Tsutomu Narita), and 2014’s Terra Fight.
