No Motiv

A punk-pop quartet from Oxnard, CA, Simply no Motiv focus on the type of personal introspection and emotional catharsis that defines the subgenre referred to as emocore. They released two albums on Advantage Information, Cynical and Scarred, and shortly became among the initial bands to indication towards the then-fledgling Vagrant Information. No Motiv continuing their recording profession by contributing tracks to films also to Vagrant’s Five Years for the Roads compilation. The second option in particular arranged the stage for No Motiv’s Vagrant label debut recording; As well as the Sadness Prevails premiered in early 1999.
