Nina Koshetz

As a kid, Nina (Pavlovna) Koshetz benefited from your music influence her tenor father had on her behalf and from her early piano research, which she began at age four. By nine, she offered her 1st recital and 2 yrs later on, she was in the Moscow Conservatory carrying on her instrumental teaching with Constantine Nicolaievitch Igumnoff and Vassily Ilyitch Safonoff and her vocal teaching with Enzo Masetti; she was also a performing college student of Félia Litvinne and Sergey Taneyev. After touring with Rachmaninov and carrying out with Koussevitzky and his orchestra, she produced her operatic debut as Tatyana in Yevgeny Onegin in the Imperial Opera in St. Petersburg using the Zimin’s Personal Opera Organization in 1913. She also toured using the Ukrainian Country wide Chorus, that was carried out by her sibling, and sang using the Chicago Opera Association, the Russian Opera Organization, with the Paris Opera. Additional notable music artists she made an appearance with consist of Blumenfeld, Gretchaninov, Glazunov, Medtner, Joaquin Nin, Prokofiev, Tcherepnin, and Yavarsky. After spending time and effort in France, she once again toured elements of Europe as well as the U.S., dedicated herself to teaching, and spent the final 25 years of her existence in California, sometimes performing in movies.
