Nimrod Workman

Appalachian singer/songwriter Nimrod Workman was created in Martin Region, KY in 1895. Called for his full-blooded Cherokee grandfather, Workman became a coal miner at age 14, an profession he remaining in 1952 after experiencing Dark lung and back again complications.
