Nikos Ksidhakis and Nikos Papazoglou

Gypsy music was brought in to the music limelight in 1978, when Ksidhakis and Papazoglou released their homage towards the gypsy design, Ih Ekdhikisi tis Yiftias (The Revenge of Gypsydom), featuring Dhionisios Savvopoulous. In 1979, they adopted up with Ta Dithen, which mined Greece’s wealthy musical folk tradition for sounds to check their gypsy convictions. Through the early ’80s, Ksidhakis was fairly silent, although he do collaborate using the buzzing vocalist Glykeria, however in 1987 he burst back again onto the musical picture with Konda ti Dhoxa mia Stigmi.
