Nightfell

As the gloom from the Pacific Northwest has given birth to its fair share of doom bands, handful of them have as exciting a pedigree as Nightfell. Shaped by Todd Burdette of His Hero IS FULLY GONE and Tragedy, and Tim Contact of Aldebaran as well as the Howling Blowing wind, the band discover the two severe metal innovators merging their specific doom aesthetics right into a cohesive eyesight. Brooding and bleak, Nightfell’s audio explores the world of death-doom, merging loss of life metal’s propulsive speed using the nocturnal atmosphere of funeral doom. The set debuted their suffocating sound on Southern Lord using the discharge of their debut record, The Living Ever Mourn, in 2014.
