Evening Star Musical Membership is among the youthful rings in Tanzania. Hailing in the Tanga-Mombassa area, the Club has mchiriku: a music described by its fresh lyrics and down-and-dirty dance design. Although such music was prohibited by the federal government in the 1970s, it really is currently savoring a renaissance. Politically and geographically marginal, groupings like the Evening Star Musical Membership cannot afford costly instruments and rather rely on inexpensive synthesizer keyboards and percussion.
