Urban modern duo Night time & Day time features the K-Ci & Jo-Jo-esque vocal team of Tony Martinez and Gasner “Gaz” Hughes, veterans from the ’90s R&B scene who attained their break by contributing periodic songs to film soundtracks and performing as background vocalists for acts like MC Breed of dog and Keith Sweat. The largest of these soundtrack music, “Dante’s Young lady,” made an appearance in The Real wood in 1999, establishing the stage for the discharge of Night time & Day’s self-titled debut full-length in early 2000.
