Night Canopy

Seattle’s bittersweet, folky indie pop clothing Evening Canopy features vocalist/songwriter and guitarist Amy Blaschke and ex – Pretty Girls Produce Graves drummer Nick deWitt within the studio room, and add ex – Capture bassist Jenny Jimenez and violinist Seth Warren (also of Crimson Superstars Theory) for concert events. Blaschke began documenting as a far more simple vocalist/songwriter in 1998, launching her debut record, Crimson Notice, via LaPush Information. On her behalf second, self-titled 2003 recording, Blaschke teamed up with Without the Bear’s Erin Tate and 764-HERO and Crimson Stars Theory’s Wayne Bertram. Night time Canopy evolved from recording classes at deWitt’s Cupcake Studios, where he and Blaschke attempted different textures and preparations within their music. The outcomes, Of Honey and Nation, had been released early in 2007 on Proceed Midnight Records.
