Nicole C. Mullen

Nashville-based singer/songwriter, minister, and choreographer Nicole Mullen spent some time working being a vocalist with Michael W. Smith, being a songwriter for Jaci Velasquez, so that as a dancer and choreographer with Amy Offer for her Center in Movement tour. She released her initial album, Desire Me Like, in 1992. Among the music she co-wrote for Velasquez, “On My Legs,” gained the 1998 GMA Melody of the entire year award; her self-titled 2000 album highlighted even more of her exclusive songwriting, which combined R&B, folk, gospel, and pop right into a design she known as “funkabilly.” She adopted up with DISCUSS It in 2001, producing a couple of Dove Awards for Song of the entire year (“Redeemer”) and Feminine Vocalist of the entire year. Released in 2004, PEOPLE gained her another Dove, this time around for Urban Recording of the entire year. Sharecropper’s Seed, Vol. 1 and Fantasy to trust in, Vol. 2 adopted in 2007 and 2008. In 2011 she released the Ed Cash-produced Captivated, and was inducted in to the Christian Music Hall of Popularity.
