Nico Rezende

Having been granted the Sharp Prize as the very best arranger of the entire year in 1990 with the Cannes Festival 3 years later on, Nico Rezende experienced success with compositions like “Perigo” (created with Paulinho Lima), “Noite” (with Jorge Salomão), “Transas” (with Paulinho Lima), “Amor Explícito” (with Antônio Cícero/Paulinho Lima), “Por Querer (Todas)” (with Marina/Antônio Cícero), and “Pseudo Blues” (with Jorge Salomão), having experienced his songs documented by Marina Lima, Zizi Possi, Ritchie, and Simone, amongst others. Nico Rezende was Ritchie’s keyboardist in the first ’80s, having also worked well as an arranger for a number of other performers, like Roberto Carlos, Gal Costa, Lulu Santos, Simone, Pubão Vermelho, and Zizi Possi. His 1st solo album premiered in 1987, getting the strike “Esquece e Vem” (with Paulinho Lima), that was also the starting theme of it Globo cleaning soap opera. He also experienced achievement with “Pense Nisso Amanhã,” “Natureza Viva,” and “Além da Sedução” (with Cláudio Rabello).
