Nick Hexum

Best known while a member from the rap/reggae/pop group 311, vocalist and guitarist Nick Hexum can be a laid-back jazz- and soul-influenced single artist who also performs along with his sibling, guitarist Zack Hexum, in the Nick Hexum Quintet. Given birth to in Wisconsin in 1970, Hexum was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where performed in his senior high school jazz music group and formed many local rock rings. After a short stint in LA in the past due ’80s, Hexum came back to Omaha, where he created what would ultimately become 311 together with his friend Chad Sexton. Through the ’90s and early 2000s, Hexum toured and documented with 311; they released many highly effective albums. In 2004, Hexum and his sibling Zac (who gained a jazz level from North Tx University or college in 2000), toured to get Presidential applicant John Kerry. In 2013, Nick and Zack combined up once again for the debut Nick Hexum Quintet recording My Shadow Webpages, an recording of all-original materials compiled by Nick.
