Nick Grant

Channeling the spirits of his hip-hop forebears, Walterboro, SC rapper Nick Offer transported the old classes in to the 2010s along with his present for storytelling and tight delivery. Like contemporaries Vince Staples, Avenue, and Denzel Curry, Offer opted to spotlight socially mindful rhymes motivated by real-life observations and loaded verses buoyed by creation that favored fantastic age-style sampling over snare boom. Motivated by Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, OutKast, Jay-Z, Rakim, and Nas, Offer created his respect for rap background at a age group, rhyming with close friends in middle college and enhancing his abilities into senior high school. Supported by Grand Hustle Information, his 2016 mixtape ’88 (Lifestyle Republic) highlighted his dense pubs and traditional jazz and R&B examples, aswell as guest performances by Killer Mike, Big K.R.We.T., and BJ the Chicago Child. Later that calendar year, he released a four-song EP motivated by Solange’s critically acclaimed record, which he known as A Seat on the Table AND SOMETHING. In early 2017, Offer issued his public debut full-length, Come back from the Cool. With an increase of bravado and lyrical prowess, Come back once again highlighted BJ the Chicago Child, aswell as Ricco Barrino, Dominic Gordon, and WatchTheDuck. The record broke in to the Best 30 from the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums graph.
