Nick Caiazza

b. 20 March 1914, New Castle, Pa, USA. In his past due teens, Caiazza caused territory rings in the Midwest before becoming a member of Joe Haymes’ well-known dance music group in 1936. He used several swing period big rings including Woody Herman’s, but created his best function of the period on his recordings with Muggsy Spanier’s Ragtimers.
