Nia Peeples has already established better good luck as an celebrity and television web host than being a performer. She made an appearance for three periods on the tv screen show Popularity, and afterwards hosted the American edition of The surface of the Pops for CBS and a short-lived late-night present known as The Party Machine for Arsenio Hall Productions. She documented an record for Mercury in 1988, but didn’t generate very much response. Peeples was wedded to vocalist Howard Hewitt.
