Newport Jazz Festival All Stars

The Newport Jazz Festival All Celebrities featured assorted music artists assembled by George Wein for Concord recording times in the past due ’80s and early ’90s. Their employees included saxophonist Scott Hamilton, cornetist Warren Vache, and, using one date, special visitor saxophonist Al Cohn. The All Celebrities’ 1990 launch was a live concert completed in Bern in 1989, while their 1988 launch was a 1987 display documented in Switzerland.
