New Villager

Brooklyn-based indie digital ensemble Brand-new Villager make blue-eyed soul and psych-inflected dance-rock, often offered a strong visible performance art visual. Centered throughout the abilities of visual performers/music artists Ross Simonini and Ben Bromley, New Villager first started while Simonini and Bromley had been attending university in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. As the music itself is actually straightforward pop/spirit with much dance-pop vibe, the music group frequently performs with likewise minded drummer/musician Colin Palmer in expanded, “set up”-style shows that feature such components as dance, visible art, composing, film, and even more. New Villager released their full-length self-titled debut record on Iamsound in 2011.
