Though details are unclear concerning exactly who played out on the brand new Phoenix’s sole one, documented in October 1967, it’s very sure that at least a number of the musicians were in the CRISIS, a LA pop-folk-rock-psychedelic group that also documented for World Pacific. The 45, “Share with Me Your Like”/”Thanks a lot,” was compiled by the Hard Moments’ Rudy Romero, and made by Cass Elliot from the Mamas & the Papas. “Share with Me Your Appreciate” is quite reputable psychedelic-influenced folk-rock, similar to a few of Stephen Stills’ tracks for Buffalo Springfield that proceeded to go in that path; “Thanks a lot” is merely an instrumental edition of “Share with Me Your Appreciate.” Both edges from the 45 are included on Rev-Ola’s Compact disc reissue from the Hard Moments’ 1967 record Blew Brain, which also contains some non-LP CRISIS singles.
