Al Doyle (from Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem) and Felix Martin (of Hot Chip) joined up with with studio room engineer Tom Hopkins because of their British digital pop cooperation New Build. The three fulfilled while these were all functioning at Warp Information and started documenting jointly in Lanark Studio room, combining the varieties of their previous groupings in the project’s slinky, synthesized grooves. Because of their initial outings, Doyle performed the role from the vocalist, nevertheless, he and Hopkins considered a bunch of various other collaborators, including vocalist Janine Rostron (aka Planningtorock) and LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney.
