Elevated in Rochester, NY, Tim Prezzano (aka Nev) paid attention to classical music as a kid, oblivious towards the dance genre where he would later on work. He researched photography on the Rochester Institute of Technology and minored in Idea and American Research Artwork at NYU, but came back to Rochester and fulfilled Tag Gage of Vapourspace. In 1992, Prezzano released “Deep Beep” by himself label; 2 yrs later, the United kingdom label GPR released two EPs, Indexa Philosopher and My Plasma Stop. The next season brought From Above It Ripples over Rocks and Nev’s debut record.
